It’s controlled by a state of the art 48Vdc DC drive that optimizes your battery cells performance. The choice of 48Vdc is no accident. This voltage range reduces heat and wire size in your scooter. Heat is wasted electrical energy, bigger wires mean more weight. So, 48Vdc provides the furthest distance at the highest performance.

Automobile Operating Cost: reported by the 2005 American Public Transportation Association at www.apta.com. Due to excessive oil & gas prices we’ve added 15% to gas, oil and maintenance estimates. We reported apples to apples. If we include tires, insurance and depreciation both scooters would look highly more attractive. The average national total cost of operating a car is approximately 54.0 cents/mile. The RideGreenUS scooter is still over five times less expensive to operate than a gas powered scooter. It seems odd, but the gas powered scooter, following the factory required maintenance schedules, can be expensive to operate.
